Bday Reg (bdayreg.com) is a free birthday gift registry operated by Honey Badger Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The service
Bday Reg lets you create birthday registries, add gifts from any store, share a link with guests, and browse gift ideas. It is free. We may change, add or remove features at any time.
Your account
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian create and manage the account. Keep your login details private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give accurate information when you sign up.
Your content
You own the registries, descriptions, comments and notes you add. You give us permission to store and display them so the service works, including showing a registry to anyone you share its link with. Only share a registry link with people you're happy to see it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Bday Reg to:
- post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that infringes someone else's rights;
- add links to malware, scams or phishing pages;
- collect other people's personal information or impersonate anyone;
- interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access it with automated tools at volume.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
Purchases and other sites
Bday Reg doesn't sell anything. When you or a guest follow a gift link, you buy from that store under its terms and prices. We aren't responsible for products, prices, availability, shipping or returns. Gift ideas are suggestions; product details can change after we list them.
Some links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, Bday Reg earns from qualifying purchases. This doesn't change what you pay.
Purchase tracking and group gifts
"Purchased" marks and group-gift contributions are recorded by guests on the honor system. Bday Reg does not process payments and can't guarantee that a marked gift was actually bought or a contribution actually paid.
No warranty; limited liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or anything arising from purchases on other sites, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
Ending use
You can stop using Bday Reg and delete your registries at any time; email us to delete your account. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, with or without notice.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
